About Green Edge Collaborative NYC

Green Edge NYC's mission is to cultivate organizations with innovative ideas for environmental sustainability in an effort to expand support for these projects throughout New York City. Green Edge NYC guides these eco-visionaries into the next stage of growth by providing access to our marketing, communication and event production, while engaging the community to help people make more informed lifestyle choices by drawing attention to local resources.

We do this by hosting our own city-wide and neighborhood events, organizing events for eco-visionaries, highlighting other events in the city and through this online network.

The Collaborative is comprised of students, professionals, artists, chefs, parents and mischief-makers who want to connect with others about social, environmental, economic and lifestyle issues facing our world today. We are New Yorkers who care about the world around us.

Green Edge Collaborative is fiscally sponsored by the Open Space Institute, Inc., as part of its Citizen Action Program. Open Space Institute, Inc. is a nonprofit public charity exempt from federal income tax under Sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.
