ROOT FOR TREES will be launching the much anticipated Chelsea Street Tree Signage Exhibit on July 29th, and as part of the preparation for this event we will need to spruce up some tree pits and assemble 28 tree guards!

If you would like to contribute your much needed hands and heart, here are the details:

WHEN + WHERE

Saturday, July 17th @ 12pm - Meet up at the corner of 18th Street and 11th Avenue

Sunday, July 18th
@ 3pm - Meet up at the corner of 18th Street and 11th Avenue

Saturday, July 24th @ 12pm - Meet up at the corner of 18th Street and 11th Avenue

Sunday, July 25th
@ 3pm - Meet up at the corner of 18th Street and 11th Avenue

Hi Street Tree Care Groupies! (I know there are only 2 of you besides me!)

I'm participating in Eyebeam's Urban Wilderness Action Day and would love to see you there. It's on March 20th and I'll be recreating a wilderness landscape using repurposed materials (fabric, plastic, umbrellas, etc.). I plan on doing some street tree care awareness as well. Plus, I'll have a petition on hand to ask the city to widen street tree beds and create contiguous beds wherever possible.
