Try our new Supper Club!

The first Brooklyn Creative League Supper Club was a big success and Green Edge NYC is excited about our second event for independent professionals --and those thinking (or just dreaming) about making the leap -- and anyone else interested in sharing their skills, ideas and interests in urban sustainability. Come to network with writers, entrepreneurs, filmmakers, architects, marketing gurus, journalists, web developers, bloggers, communications professionals, illustrators, designers, and others.

Special Guest: Lauren Collins -- Gowanus Canal Conservancy

Lauren will speak about her organization and working at the Brooklyn Creative League

Brooklyn Creative League
gives freelance professionals, small-shop companies, and nonprofits the tools they need to get their work done: affordable, green shared workspace, office amenities, and a community of professional colleagues. The BCL facility is a beautiful example of how green construction materials result in both a healthy and aesthetically cool space.

Hey Guys,

I want to share a little project I've been working on. I'm always on the lookout for the freshest fruits and veggies I can find and I'm always at the Farmers markets. I created a little web gadget which shows what's in season, and what you can expect to see at the farmers market.

It's a great addition to an organic/food-oriented web site or blog.

Garbage Dream Screening Thursday Dec 12 at 8pm at 92 Y Tribeca.

The woman who made Blue Vinyl is hosting a screening of three in-the-works documentaries. I was invited to attend to give my feedback about a film called Garbage Dreams about kids who recycle up to 85% of their waste in Cairo. Please come to the screening if you want to give your input on how to promote the film in the US:

Hey guys, so it's about time for another Supper Club. Is anyone interested in hosting? If Dec. is not good, we could pick a date for January.

Sorry I couldn't make it last night - it's a bit hectic at work right now. Glad that everyone had a nice evening. I hope to make it to the next event.
