Event Description

November Green Building Forum - Showcase: International Green Building

As green building becomes more widely known here in NYC, we wonder about how it is developing internationally. This month's forum will delve deeper into the issues, challenges and varying processes within the international green building sector. We have an exciting panel of four leading sustainability experts who have all worked extensively in the international realm and will speak to the comparisons between working here in the US and abroad.

Back in 2002 the World Green Building Council was formed by eight nations to stand as a voice for green building design and development. This forum will also discuss who is ahead, which countries have really embraced the shift toward a more sustainable built environment, how the economics affect the outcome and how the US LEED certification translates to the international sector. Please join us at Trespa in Soho to promote worldwide green building.

Please RSVP
